This one was written some time in the middle of February.  You may have noticed there is no punctuation, get over it, it's supposed to be that way.

The seed was planted early in the season

For this I can give no reason

It quickly sprouted from the ground

And with a gorgeous blossom it was crowned

Displaying this beauty that I might savor

Her roots were long and could not waiver

She was a splendid creation of the great Almighty

More desirous than the honored Aphrodite

Her petals were a glorious shining light

Her magnificence filled me with such delight

The mere memory of her brought joy to my heart

Remembering when her growth had its start

Water and light she would not be refused

She showed the way for the lost and confused

I took this flower and put her in a vase

To show off her beautiful face

But she would not be put up on display

She held this thought with much dismay

Her humility only increased her worth

Naïve to the selfish ways of the earth

Her roots grew strong and I found myself enveloped

And watch this plant grow as it developed

So beautiful and grand I could not stay

But a root was stuck on me as I walked away

Now I knew I could not ever leave her

No matter what I would always see her

In everything that held any beauty

To defend this root was now my duty

I must nurture it but not let it grow

For if I ever had to let it go

The hole remaining would be too great

And I could not live in that broken state

As I wander throughout my days

At my side this root will stay

Until the time shall come that I can show

The root enough love to let it grow
